Dancing with the Stars

Okay, so I like this show it's a fav and on Tuesdays someone gets sent home. But the best part of the night is the guest singer. Last night Def Leppard was on. It was so cool. The dance they did will Def Leppard sang Pour Some Sugar on Me was killer. They have had River Dance on last week. This show is so fun to watch, Brian doesn't think so, but hey a ton of others think it a good show. I really like Jason & Edyta and Kristi & Mark. I hope it comes down to those two.

Colby & Jaxson

This last weekend Tana came to Virgina to visit Travis and she brought Jaxson. Colby and Jaxson hit it off. They had so much fun. If this is anything of how they are going to be when they are older watch out world here they come.

Money?

Yes, this is a 20 dollar bill that Colby had fun with. It has been a month since the mishap and I think I can write about it. The Easter Bunny brought money in the eggs $20 for each kid. Okay... the next day Colby is going through his eggs, I was in the office and Kyle comes in and says "whook mom, Coby broke the moneys." Holding it all in his little hand. Yes I know I should have put the money right in the the penny banks on Sunday. A scream can flying out of my mouth, scaring myself and Kyle, I was trying to stay calm yet I could feel the my blood boiling over. I calmly ask Colby "Did you ripe up this money?" " Yes I did." Was his reply. "What! It's money, to go buy things, toys." I start to pace. "You can buy lots with this money." Tears start. I'm thinking where have I gone wrong. We have talked about money. Maybe not this much money as one piece of paper. So needless to say it has turned into a big learning lesson. Right after it happened we were at the store and he wanted some toy I asked him if had his money. If you had your money you could buy it. Or you could buy X number of those. So for his birthday he got some money and Colby told me, "You don't ripe money. You save it so you can buy something you really want." What a why to learn that.

Happy 5th Birthday Colby

A birthday wouldn't be a birthday unless someone cried. It wasn't the birthday boy but Kyle was feeling a little left out. Colby had a wonderful day. He wasn't sick any more, he picked out a new bike and got some more transformers what more could a 5 year old want. The weather has just been the best this last week 75 to 80 and blossoms are just so pretty. The kids have been outside playing as much as they can. They drag their dad over to the pond to fish every night after dinner. Colby is really in to the fishing. If he thought that his mom could take him he would never want to go home. I think Brian loves the fact that his kids love doing something that he loves.

Going Fishin'

We are almost done with the flu season, spring allergies are starting up and at my house Brian suffers from salmon fever in the spring too. Spring flower are in bloom and the symptoms are starting. He checks the number of fish over the dams. (dam count) He is away from his equipment this year so he hasn't started to tie hocks. But he does need his outdoor channel fix more now. The only cure is going. So in June Brian will be on the banks of the Salmon River in Riggens, Idaho. So now we what. But we have a pond across the street and yesterday it was 75 and so beautiful that we went fishing. In the pond there are Blue Gill. We just have the kids fishing pole but it was a ton of fun.
