Big Ultrasound

Today was my ultrasound to check on the baby's health and most importantly to find out the sex of the baby. The vote at my house is 3 boys wanting a boy and 2 girl wanting a girl. I have the girl name picked out, a name I had on the list when I had Karissa. For the record, I am out of boy names. I would like to stay with the "C" or "K" name, but nothing to off the wall or a fad name. Well, I made it to the Fairfax Hospital where my appointment was. It's not real close to our house but they tell me that they are the best. Well, the baby is healthy and we know what we are having. Oh! Did you want me to tell you? What do you think we are having? I know that Heavenly Father gives us what we need and not what we want, so I must have needed another boy. The boys are really happy. I'm happy even though I wanted a girl. Karissa is very sad, she wanted a sister so badly. Well she'll just have to wait for sister-n-laws.

Baby number 4.

For those of you who don't know, we are going to have baby number 4 sometime after Christmas. We are hoping for a week or so after Christmas and before 2008 ends(tax write off). Due dates mean nothing to me really. Kyle came 4 weeks early and he was 8lb 7oz with a NICU stay. Colby came 3 weeks early at 9lb 8 oz. Karissa was a week early and 9lb 10oz. The boys were C-sections so that moves up your due date by one week. Well, I went to my new OB out here in VA last week. I have had one OB for all my other babies. I think he is going to be a really good Doctor. Three friends from my ward said that he was the best. I'm 17 weeks along and have already had my cola test and will have another one soon, the Doc is keeping a close eye one me and this baby. I will be having a lot of tests. Hopefully this will let me stay off of bed rest. I have been ill but not as bad as the others. I just don't have any get up and go right now. I'm hoping that the nesting will hit soon because I have a ton that I would like to get done. Mostly crafting stuff. One thing that I have done in the last 2 and 1/2 weeks is read all the Twilight books. I never really knew about them but I'm in love with them.

Back in Va

We had a little traffic leaving the Baltimore airport. This is just as you go into Virgina from Maryland. The Dullis airport is tons closer to our house but you do what you've got to do when you are saving money. But the view of the Temple going this way is something I will always love.
The last week we hung out with family and friends. The kids and I had been out in Idaho for 7 weeks. I thought that it would give us tons of time to play with friends and do all the fun things that we miss. But we still crammed a ton of stuff in at the end. Handing out wiht grandma and grandpa Homer all day doing what ever the kids wanted and so they hung out at Cabela's for a few hours. Swimming with the Stones. Making more bird houses with grandpa Bastian. I miss the dry weather. I don't know if I will really get the hang of the humidity. I know that I never really did when we lived in the Boston area growing up.
