Where have I been? Oh yes, Having fun!

We are loving our summer in Idaho. We just can't get enough of 4-wheeling, parks, parties, family and friends. We are also loving the fresh food from the garden. Here we are shelling peas.Karissa enjoyed a trip with Homers and Carol and Tiffy to Montpelier and Bear Lake. She had a ton of fun and going with out her brothers was pretty cool she says.

We just love the evenings. The kids have been having very late nights because it not dark until 10ish. They love playing Red Rover when the next door neighbor kids come and play. It is hard playing with only 5 but it doesn't stop them. Growing up in Idaho I loved the evenings. I think that its the best time to play.

The 4th we hung out and had a little show.
The 5th is Kyle's Birthday and He was very tired and so it was very low key. He asked for a castle cake that had shinning armors in it.

We sang to Kyle a few times once with Brian on a computer call and then again Spencer and Abby (the neighbor kids) stopped by. Colby and Karissa picked out a play guitar. Now they play Rockers

How Colby got the guitar for the photo op I'll never know.

There are some really fun park that we love. Settlers Park is one of them.

We enjoyed a picnic at Deborah and Allen's house with family the other evening.
Sometimes we are not on our game and we let some zucchini get to big. So what do you do with them? We make boats. The kids love horse back riding when ever they get a chance they are game. They are just getting ready for the rodeo this weekend. They did really good riding all alone. Saturn was also a very good horse.

I'm sorry that there is a ton on this posting. And I haven't even made a list of all the books that I have read so far this summer.

Well....

We have been busy enjoying the beautiful weather and family and friends. The day we got to Boise Brian headed up to Riggins for some Salmon fishing. The kids went up a few times and loved fishing with their dad and grandpa.

Colby can't wait to be 10 so he can salmon fish all by his self. Brian had told him that he would buy Colby salmon gear when he is 10. So the next day Colby said "Dad can you buy Karissa the gear when she is 10 so I can borrow it when I'm 8." We had to laugh.

June 20th Karissa was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day Saints. She has been waiting for a while to be baptized in Idaho so all our family and friend would be able to come. We are so greatful for her example in our family. We love you Karissa.

Kade is growing right up.

He is starting to sit on his own.

We are really enjoying Grandma & Grandpa's garden. Fresh peas and snow peas, zuccini, raspberries, boysenberries, and those are just my faves.

Before Brian went back home we spent a few days in Sun Valley. The kids love fishing in Penny Lake.
They also love playing in the Wood River. Kyle loves throwing rocks in any body of water.
