Folks, Julie has asked that I Brian "The Tape Man" Homer do the honors on the latest basement update. Yes, we are actually making some progress, slow progress in some peoples eyes, but progress none the less. I now know why I did not do sheet rock for a living. There is a talent to taping sheet rock that I have discovered I do not possess. That has not stopped me from learning as we go. I am actually improving so by the time we are finished with this stage of the project, I will be an expert. There are ample opportunities to take out post work aggression by sanding in the evenings after work. We now have the theater room painted and plugs installed. It is now being used as a storage area until the project is completed.

This room is waiting for the doors to be installed, base molding and carpet. The bathroom is needing a few touch-ups before final painting then onto the plumbing, cabinet installs and tile the floor. We are now working on the exercise room, kids club house

and recreation room which all have the first round of taping complete.

This means the sand paper is coming back out. Travis come back! The plan is to have all taping complete with walls painted and electrical complete by the time Merrill shows back up in January. Grandma and Granpa Homer will be visiting in November for Thanksging and I am sure we will make some progress when they are here. This will set the stage for full completion during Bastians visit in January.
