Prepared?
Food storage is an on going beast. Yes, beast. Don't get me wrong it's a great thing, but it's a lot of food. Plus you need to be organized with all the stuff. So this weekend we worked on being even more prepared by organizing our storage room and the food in it. That way we would know what things we are in need of.

We still have a long way to go, but it does feel nice to be a little prepared.

in a nut shell
It has been wild around here. Saturday the 16th we kick off the summer with our 1st s'mores of the season, right after a huge down pour. But nothing says summer like s'mores.
and says that "It is the best photo ever."
Wednesday the 20th I took Kade to his 4 month check up. Kade is 26" long/tall 80%, 14lbs 13oz 45% and his head is 42 1/4 cm 50%. He is one our lighter kids at this age. He has a hernia and will have to have surgery.
Thursday I was getting things ready for a friends baby shower that I was hosting. The shower was fun and the food was good and I was lame and didn't get any photo taken.
Friday Kyle got up with Poison Ivy on his face and arms, legs, tummy, all over. I told him the night before to stay out of the trees. Well it got worse. Saturday it was bad but Sunday he had a swollen face.

Monday we were able to get him in to see the Doctor, on a Holiday, and now he is on a steroid and cream and he looks so much better today then yesterday. The meds do make him a little wired but he feels much better. Karissa and Colby are ready for school to be out so they can go to Boise. They are missing the last 5 days of school to go and think that is pretty cool. Brian is really ready to go too. His Salmon Fever is in full swing. He shows me this ...

In Loving Memory

Yesterday we got the call that Tucker, our yellow lab, was having a hard time breathing and was going to be put down. He was going to be 11 years old this coming week. We were looking forward to seeing him this summer. We really have missed not having him out here with us. He was a great and crazy dog. We love you Tuck!

W-o-w! The 3-0!
Well this year like many years my birthday was on Mother's Day. Brian did a wonderful job to make it special. He cleaned the house and cooked all weekend. Saturday I wanted to go to some yard sales alone but the kids got wind of this and where in like Flin. It's not easy with 3 kids wanting other folks junk and I would saying "Don't you have something like that already." or "We don't need that." But it worked out and we had fun and were home by 9:30. The big score of the day was an armour I got it for $65.
I got it for the basement to house the games, puzzles and the kids craft stuff. Brian took the kids shopping for Mother's Day/ birthday gifts. They gave me Mother's Day plants. I love to get each year. Sunday Brian gave a wonderful talk. I taught my lesson in Young Woman's. Had my Birthday party after church before we had some friend over for our Mother's Day party. Food and letting 11 kids run and play. We had a blast.
Brian and the kids got me a Bose Sound Dock to have in the kitchen. It is so cool. I love it and LOVE you guys for the BEST Mother's Day & Birthday!

Rain Rain Go Away!
It has been a week of rain. Tons and tons of rain. I saw the sun for maybe a minute this morning at the bus stop. But other than that is had been very grey and wet. Well it is green too. Sloshy green. I love this time of year everything growing and in bloom. But it is hard to enjoy in a down pour. This is not Idaho rain we are talking Seattle rain.
Tuggy my float away. I thought it might last night in the down pour. Our back yard looks more like a jungle everyday. Maybe Mother's Day we will see the sun.
